SecureAlerts fully integrates a business rules engine with the existing store video surveillance and the point-of-sale systems. SecureAlerts employs a customer-defined set of business rules to identify violations of acceptable levels of operating performance. When a violation is detected the point-of-sale event that led to that violation is imbedded with the relevant video clip and forwarded to a central website. An email containing a hyperlink to this video clip is immediately sent to designated recipients, typically the loss prevention department.
